Garden of the Gods

What a trip we had to visit family and friends in Colorado! Flights went better than I expected with Elias sleeping a good chunk of both. We visited two zoos (Denver and Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in Colorado Springs), the Denver Children's Museum, the Garden of the Gods, our old stomping grounds in Winter Park, and spent a lot of time with Seth's family. There was a lot of fun packed into a week's time and it was worth every minute. Isaiah's birthday and our anniversary landed during the trip and so we had a chance to celebrate the whole week too! Colorado: Here we come!

At the end of April we are taking a family trip back to Colorado. It's the first real vacation that we'll have taken since Elias was born and of course it's always great to get the chance to get back to Colorado! We are taking a few extra days so that we can make the trek up to Winter Park, where Seth and I met and lived for 4 years. We lived there when Isaiah was first born and we still have some very dear friends up there. Getting to stay in a hotel with a swimming pool the night before we fly out and the actual flight are what occupy Isaiah's mind right now. But not too far behind are thoughts about his Colorado birthday party and the chance to go to the zoo!!
